Our tadpole adventure was postponed and we WILL reschedule based on the day-to-day "black fly" forecast!!! The first nice day that brings in a gentle breeze, we will make our way outdoors to discover the habitat of tadpoles and gather some to investigate and journey with them through the life cycle of the frog!

Final Tally!
We are very proud to announce that our face painting was a success!! Not only did the morning run smoothly and inject a great energy into our class community, we were able to raise $72 in support of the PEI Easter Seals Campaign! I am so proud of my grade 2 friends who took on huge responsibility and did an amazing job with their face art. EVERYONE had a hand it's success...from face painters, to runners, money collectors, to promotional advertisers!lol Also a big shout out to our fantastic grade 6 volunteers that helped make our event a success. You rock! Finally, thank you Donagh parents for supporting your children and our efforts to make a difference for others! A proud teacher here...

Easter Cards
We brainstormed a list of ideas on how we could make a difference in someone else's life either in our community or globally. Students then voted in the ideas they liked best. The highest ranking idea was an Easter card project. Students made Easter cards for sick patients at the QEH for the Easter holiday! They are sweet cards and will go a long way to those who will be hospitalized over the holiday and not feeling well.
I am hopeful that a parent might be interested in volunteering todeliver our cards for next week. We would be grateful!
